 Very cool. It's supposed to be a spiritual sequel to Actraiser i think.

 It's made by AceTeam a Chilean developer. No AceTeam game has been bad so i don't think this one will dissapoint either.

They also commissioned the music from the original Actraiser composer.  Unfortunately, it's gotten some pretty average/meh reviews over various things like iffy control and some action levels feel like filler.   It's still worth a shot especially if you love the original.

 Hopefully AceTeam uses this experience to create a 2nd game and fixes some of the complaints against it.  Of course reviews state the music is the best part of the game.  The original score is still epic to this day. :-)

 According to what i heard, it's basically BECAUSE it mimics the original that it feels weird to modern gamers.

You know how review sites people are.
