So my friends kids dropped there Nintendo Wii system off of a computer desk! This was a very hard fall to the hardwood floor. After being dropped, discs would no longer show up or play from the disc drive! When you put a disc in, it would spin then relay back a few beeps!
The dvd drive eye was stuck! The eye runs on a track and if your system falls hard enough to the ground, it will get the eye stuck to one side. If this happens to you. Open the system up and take off the metal top. Take a screw driver or knife and unstick the eye on the track from the top of the drive. Don't take the drive apart , you can do this with the drive together.
Good chance this will fix your problem and you will be back playing your favorite games from disc again!

So last night I updated to 4.3 and now have it modded with wiiflow working without having to buy any games and use their hacked game saves steps are as follows.
MUST HAVE CIOS 223 OR 224 INSTALLED AND A WIFI CONNECTION BEFORE STARTING
1. Install the latest homebrew and bootmii as boot2.
2.Make a nand backup to be safe.
4.Now you have 4.3 and homebrew channel still working now just to fix the ios's.
5.Download the hackwii kit I made here to your apps folder.
Like this post to see the hidden content.
6.Now launch up Dopmii wii brew edition and use ios 223 or 224 as the ios to install others
7.Now uninstall ios 249 stub if it don't uninstall you didn't use ios 223 or 224 or don't have it installed.
8.Its ok just run a scan in dopmii to see what ios has fakesign and nand enabled and use that as the one to uninstall others.
9.You should have ios249 stub uninstalled now just launch up cIOSX_rev20b-Installer via homebrew and install rev20 with any base and on ios 249.
10.Now just uninstall ios 36 from dopmii then reinstall as ios 36 v1042.
11.Congratulation you now have 4.3u with homebrew and CIOS 249 v20b.
12.Your wii is now modded just launch up any backup loader you have I recommend Wiiflow 2.2 and have fun.
Yo Yo Yo Wussup homiez?
Hi there lol. The new FCD (Friend Code Database) is now complete! I have just finished putting the finishing touches on it and you can start using it today!
Several things have changed in terms of the applications that use Friend Codes and the main one is Tournaments. Tournaments now have the ability to show the friend codes for the participating users on the page itself. When you visit any tournament page, clicking the beside the number of open spots brings up the list of users actively participating in the tournament. Well now that the FCD is done, that list will now show the user's friend code in brackets beside their name!!
This not only makes it easier for the tournament leader, but as well for you guys as well because if let's say you really enjoyed playing with someone in a tournament, you can simply look at the tournament page and have their friend code right there
Also another small change I made to the tournaments page while I was there was linking the game name to the WiiTDB page for info of the game in case people want more info about the game. This is a minor change but can help people greatly in the future for games they've never played before .
I'll also be adding a section for tournament leaders to put in a DU topic ID where people can download the game if they don't already have it. Again this makes participating in tournaments a hell of a lot easier
Tournament moderators, all you have to do differently now, and I've already changed the info about it in the moderator sections for tournaments, you must now put in the GAME ID instead of the game name... this is so it can connect to the WiiTDB AND the friend code database since they store FCs that way.
In terms of changes for DUTag there aren't any that you'll notice lol... internal modifications to the way it pulls codes and stuff .
So, you can access the Friend Code Database using the link in the header above entitled "Friend Codes".
That brings you to the main app front where you can search within the db, manage your own codes, and view your friends' codes.
Well I guess explaining it here can only go so far lol so I urge you to check it out!!
Thanks boiz and gurlz
