Transfer savegames from orig to cfw switch

The first bullet under Important says you can never unlink the account unless you delete it. Nintendo revised their options in Sept. 2018 for 6.1+ firmwares so people can't unlink their accounts from their Switch anymore. However, I heard stories of people calling Nintendo, verifying their identity, and claiming their Switch was stolen/broken in order to make an exception on that though. Nintendo then deactivates the old Switch and asks you to remove it as your primary console from your Nintendo account online. What happens when that PokeSwitch goes online with a new account? I have no idea. Maybe you could say you sold it? Best thing I guess you could do is call Nintendo for more info about what happens to your linked account if you want to sell your Switch.. But normally, no, you can't remove a linked account from a Switch to use a new one unless it is 100% deleted (RIP saves and purchases if that is done).

So I guess you will need to first link your Nintendo account to NormieSwitch (hopefully you haven't hacked it yet? otherwise, RIP saves), subscribe to Nintendo Cloud Services on PokeSwitch and NormieSwitch, upload your saves from PokeSwitch, and then download your saves to NormieSwitch. After that, never go online again with NormieSwitch after you hack it, because your brother will get banned along with you, since he is also using your dually linked Nintendo account. Found a good guide here: [Hidden Content] This has more enlightening info:

    Switch Firmware 6.20 cracked!

Most people agree that there is no reason to be on <6.2.
  7. Like I said, Google brings them up easy. No need to download anything from this thread because it's all easy to find on Google that will lead people straight to the home sites. Google - Darth firmware Google - switchtools ChoiDuJour I just like teaching people how to do what they need to get what they want straight from the source. That way they don't have to keep unnecessarily going to a thread and asking the same questions over and over when a link goes down, or when the OP is unable to keep a topic updated. Anyways, my work here is done, cya~
  8. Can you upload the P3 no voice patch please? All I see is the P5 patch on both of them.. Also appreciate translations.

Alittle idea that might inspire others

Umm, I mostly was recommending that it be posted in the tutorial since it was rather empty with zero links or resources provided with it. At the same time I was trying to bring to light a topic that I thought was a good idea (that was sinking to the bottom of the topics) by showing interest in it. But uh, thanks...? Thanks for literally murdering my posting enthusiasm.. *sigh*
  10. No. Newest updates contain all needed update data!
  11. Heard this doesn't work always.

Mind sharing the icons you used? I like this idea for giving the extensions to them. Also, I'd suggest sharing where to download Resource Hacker. I already have it myself though. But a lot of people might not know what it is. I don't know where you got the XCI Organizer, however. Good idea, tutorial could use some updating.
  13. Heck yea, I'm excited to play Raven all over again! Maybe I'll actually use Repede this time. This update is sorta like updating me that the game is almost here.

    Probably on his homepage.
  15. You don't have to disable RCM to power off your Switch. EDIT: Note: if you ever disable RCM, your fuses will burn to the latest amount at the next boot up into OFW (original firmware). Hold the power down and choose to power off when the option shows, then stick the Payload in for 12 seconds. This will do a hard shutdown from RCM. If you have the NS Atmosphere payload, it will briefly glow pink to let you know that it turned off. Otherwise, it will never truly shutdown. This is always recommended to help avoid corrupting your MSD card before taking it out. More in depth write up here: [hide][Hidden Content]] Remember, you will have to actually push the power button (no need to hold it down) the next time you "turn on" your Switch (that is, before you inject your payload) since the Switch is actually turned off now. If you stick in your payload and it doesn't inject, that will confirm it is actually fully off. Still, like any lithium battery (as you probably already know), it will drain regardless if it is on or not. I wouldn't recommend leaving it unplugged for longer than a few days or at all, if possible, because it's quite a chore to charge in RCM, as it charges incredibly slow.

    Switch Media Player (pPlay)

Oh another bug I found out about is if you goto the Home screen and return back to the movie, the sound will get garbled and staticy. That might have mentioned in the notes and I forgot though. Still figured I'd mention it. I've been using the pplayer now that I know what to watch out for it's a lot better Best thing to do when leaving a movie is to pause it and exit the app with the menu. You can resume it later easily without issues then. Hoping for more stability next release too! But I'm patient, I just love the fact I can watch movies on my Switch now~
  17. In my opinion, leave auto RCM on. You really don't want to be shorting out your Joycon rail pins anymore if you don't have to. Updating with ChoiDujour doesn't burn fuses. After updating with Choi, it will ask to you reboot when finished. Just reinsert your payload after it turns off/reboots. Bam, you're in the new 6.2 firmware. It's all very painless if you did everything correctly. This is my favorite guide to link people, because it is to the point and has screenshots. [Hidden Content] You never did mention which method you are using so I can't say much more. ReiNX? SX OS? Either way, there shouldn't be any issues as long as you have updated your custom firmware before updating your official firmware.

    Games require update to play

Choi installs Official Firmware only. Unfortunately I've never used Atmosphere (ReiNX here), but here is video for how to install it. I assume you just need to overwrite the old files to update. You can grab the latest release of Atmosphere here: [Hidden Content] After that you will need to update (flash) your payload with the new bin file for what Atmosphere uses. This is a great guide for how to update it. [Hidden Content] Since you are already using it, you probably have a better idea of which files Atmosphere uses. I'm not sure which methods you are using to inject payloads though..so that may be useless to you.
  19. Yup, just pick the option for exFAT install (the right box).
  20. Why do you want to update to 6.2 if you already have 6.2? But yea, updating offline with ChoiDujouNX is super safe and painless.
  21. An update leaked before a game release, that's a new one. I wonder how that happened? Heh! What I'm wondering about this game the most if we will be able to hack Flynn in the party earlier, instead of having to wait to the near end of the game to get him.
