  1. This is the latest version of Snes9x GX with added MSU-1 support. I plan on adding an easy to follow guide explaining how to patch MSU-1 to your games but for now I will upload prepatched games for your convenience. These games are a lot bigger than the original games so it's highly recommended you have a lot of space or only planning on getting one or two of these games because they add up quickly. -eatyerface So what exactly is MSU-1? The MSU-1 expansion chip for the SNES was developed by byuu and is included in the SD2SNES flash cart and supported by some emulators. The MSU-1 adds some amazing features to the SNES by allowing for up to 4GB of data storage (would have been impossible back in the 90s) which can be streamed to the SNES during play. This allows for FMV (Full Motion Video), like you’ve probably seen in Dragon’s Lair, as well as CD-quality audio, like the TurboGrafx-CD and Sega CD had at the time. This roundup will focus on the latter as a collection of MSU-1 CD Audio enhanced games. Essentially this brings new ways to enjoy the old classics in that "what if" scenario where Sony and Nintendo remained good friends and actually released the SNES Playstation. 5. PepXL's USB Loader GX Themed Forwarders Here's a collection of forwarders themed after the official USB Loader GX Forwarder. These weren't made by me, they were made by PepXL. They are all animated, but I haven't had time to shoot vids for all these, so I upped some Dolphin Screenshots. I just thought this was a decent collection worth sharing, so I updated all the forwarding sources, and changed out their titles to match GameTDB! Also note, that if you use any of my forwarders/channels, all the title ID's match for the same apps/emulators so they can be easily overwritten! No uninstalling, just installing over the old forwarder. It's nice if you like to swap out your channels every once in awhile, but don't like re-arranging everything. I can swap out my entire DU forwarder collection for my 2nd Edition forwarders, to these here PepXL forwarders, to my regular forwarders without having to re-arrange anything! See spoilers for additional info and download links. Update 09-24-14: Updated all forwarders to Fix94's v14 forwarding source, except for WiiEngine, which still used the v11 dollz only source. Update 12-25-11: I have started making a few more forwarders to match this theme. Today I have added forwarders for The HBC, and WiiMC. Also added a CFG USB Loader forwarder with updated logo's. They are not yet added to the all-inclusive .rar file, so grab 'em seperately for the moment! Check out my other forwarder threads: Forwarder v14 Source Features: -Uses WiiXplorer as a forwarder base -NTFS, FAT32, ext2, ext3 and ext4 partition support -IOS58 for USB 2.0 speed -Can load from USB and SD -Can load dol, dollz and elf files -meta.xml arguments support All Forwarders Include the Following Paths: SD:/apps/????/boot.dol SD:/apps/????/boot.elf USB:/apps/????/boot.dol USB:/apps/????/boot.elf You can Download them all in one file here: [Hidden Content] Emulator Forwarders Nintendo Entertainment System - (FceuGX) Super Nintendo Entertainment System - (Snes9xGX) Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Cover Flow- (Snes9xGX) Gameboy / Gameboy Color / Gameboy Advance - (vbaGX) Nintendo 64 - (Wii64) Sega Master System - (SMSPlus) Sega Genesis - (GenPlusGX) PC Engine - (WiiEngine) Loaders CFG USB Loader CFG USB Loader 2 (Updated Icon & Banner Logo's) CoverFloader GameCube Backup Launcher Channel Gecko OS Loader NeoGamma uLoader WiiFlow HBC Apps FTPii Homebrew Browser HBC MPlayer-CE Multi-Mod Manager Priiloader Sneek2 SoftChip TriiForce Wad Manager 1.7 Channel WiiEarth WiiMC WiiRadio WiiXplorer Please Hit the "Like" Button if you Dig This!

  7. Mastershoes' DU Themed Emu Forwarder Collection Here is the biggest collection of emulator forwarders out there - 34 different emu's altogether (+3 alts) and they're all Dark Umbra themed! Made to match the epic DU wii theme created by frylock and dead4u2day. Special thanks to those guys for letting me use their background image, which made all the difference in matching these up (gotta love that DU wii theme, you can see and download it from here). Shout out to JJ Kwik as well for getting me pointed in the right direction. This is by a long shot the best gaming community out there, so I thought I'd make some forwarders that can represent. The Title ID's are made to match GameTDB, so you can D/L covers with the click of a button. Also, they all use Fix94's v14 forwarding source (Thanks Fix!). I did however include a simple forwarder for smsplus and hugo-gx, in case you don't have the modded versions of those emulators. See spoiler tags for more info and Download links. Update List: Check out my other forwarder threads: Forwarder v14 Source Features:-Uses WiiXplorer as a forwarder base-NTFS, FAT32, ext2, ext3 and ext4 partition support-IOS58 for USB 2.0 speed -Can load from USB and SD -Can load dol, dollz and elf files -meta.xml arguments supportAll Forwarders Include the Following Paths:SD:/apps/????/boot.dolSD:/apps/????/boot.elfUSB:/apps/????/boot.dolUSB:/apps/????/boot.elfSidenotes:-If you like switchin' your themes up, these also look really good on the DarkWii-DarkBlue, and DarkWii-White themes, and probably a few others. I'll look through a few more when I get a chance to see what matches up good. Although, I don't know why you'd want to rock anything but the DU theme. -If you're angrified that your favorite games screenshot isn't in the forwarder and you're familiar with customizemii, just replace one of the following images in the banner: samplebanner_a; samplebanner_c; samplebanner_i; samplebanner_j - with a .png of your favorite screenshot, and it should size out pretty darn close!-If there's anything else Emulatorwise you'd like to see up here, put in a request and I'll get to it.Please hit the "Like" button if you like what you see!Introducing my collection of Dark Umbra themed emulator forwarders!(Note - Amiga, GnuBoy, NeoCD, GxGeo v2, O2em, WiiApple, WiiEngine, WiiXL, Wiituka, and the PAL version of Snes9xgx and GenPlusGX are not featured in this video, neither are the updated versions of bluemsx-wii, desmumewii, vbagx, or wiituka. 8. SoftPerfect Connection Emulator Pro 1.7.10 File size: 6.6 MB SoftPerfect Connection Emulator (SCE) is a WAN environment emulator for network application developers, system administrators and network engineers. Software developers creating network-enabled applications, especially time-critical ones like VoIP software or real time protocols, need to thoroughly test their products in a range of environments. Most applications work well on broadband connections, but what if your application will also be used on low-speed communication links such as GPRS or Satellite? This is where SCE comes in handy. It imitates a network connection with low bandwidth limits, latency and losses. With SCE you can test how well your application performs on slow or long-distance connections to ensure the quality of your software product. SCE runs on any PC with Windows XP or higher, allowing you to selectively apply bandwidth limits, introduce random or fixed delays on data flows, and simulate packet loss to mimic a low-grade communication channel. SoftPerfect Connection Emulator is available as an unlimited duration trial, however maximum simulation session is limited to 30 seconds. Purchasing a licence will remove this limitation and allow running lengthy simulations. Key features: Runs on any PC with Windows XP or higher (32-bit or 64-bit). Restricts connection speed. Imitates fixed or variable latency. Simulates individual and sequential packet loss, corruption, duplication and reordering. Displays live packet simulation chart. Supports multiple simulation profiles. [Hidden Content] Recommend Download Link Hight Speed | Please Say Thanks Keep Topic Live
  9. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been playable in CEMU from start to finish for some time now, but you may have noticed than when you launch the game, it's running slower than you might like. Currently, the only way to a get the absolute best experience possible requires just a slight amount of tweaking before you can achieve 30FPS in the open outdoors. No need to worry, because the process is actually fairly simple. If you follow this simple step-by-step, you too will learn how to achieve the maximum performance while playing the game. Before we begin, however, there are a few things you will need. Let us run through a small checklist of what's required to make this happen: [Hidden Content] After downloading all requisite files, you are ready to continue. Firstly, we will enable something called GPUFence hack in CEMU. This feature used to be exclusive to CEMUHook, but it has since been integrated into the emulator by default. To enable GPUFence Hack for BotW, navigate to your CEMU folder, under gameProfiles (e.g. C:\cemu_1.8.0b\gameProfiles). You will see a bunch of .ini files, each one corresponding to a specific Wii U Title. We want to configure the hack only for Breath of the Wild, so we are only looking for one out of a possible three .ini files (depending on your region). Find the .ini file corresponding to your game version and open it in notepad. The .ini you want is either: 00050000101C9300.ini (for JPN) 00050000101C9400.ini (for USA) 00050000101C9500.ini (for EUR) Once it's open, you should see something like this: # TLoZ: Breath of the Wild (USA) [CPU] emulateSinglePrecision = true [Graphics] What we're doing here is making sure the emulator starts with this hack enabled, and we can do that by adding 'disableGPUFence = true' under the graphics section. Like so: # TLoZ: Breath of the Wild (USA) [CPU] emulateSinglePrecision = true [Graphics] disableGPUFence = true Save the file. Now the game will start with this hack enabled, allowing you to reach a more acceptable 30FPS framerate in the open world. Secondly, we will extract CEMUhook (dbghelp.dll) right into the Cemu 1.8.0 directory (where your cemu.exe is located). This enables a few key features in CEMU such as h264 video playback (required for video cutscenes), and also gives you the ability to toggle the GPUFence hack off and on (required since indoor areas such as shrines run at double-speed with the hack.) That's it for this step. Thirdly, (optional but will lessen stuttering as shaders are compiled), we will take the shader cache we downloaded it and extract it to the CEMU under the proper folder: C:\cemu_1.8.*\shaderCache\transferable NOTE: You may have to rename the .bin file depending on what region your game is. You can find this out by running the game in CEMU and looking in the title bar. The filename you want is based on [SaveDir] in the CEMU title bar. Lastly, after the above steps are finished, we can launch Breath of the Wild in CEMU. For best results, it is recommended to set the GPU Buffer Cache Accuracy to Low. You can find this under Options>GPU Buffer Cache Accuracy. You will also notice that under the Options menu is now an option named "GX2SetGPUFence skip (HACK)". It will default to on when you load Breath of the Wild, which is what we want, since the open world runs at about ~15 FPS without it. However, it can be enabled and disabled on the fly as needed (such as in shrines) to ensure the best playability at all times. Congratulations! You are now ready to enjoy the best way to play Breath of the Wild in CEMU.
  10. Anonymous_Umbra's Channel Forwarder Thread I completely forgot about these and forgot to upload them! A big shout out to Mastershoes as well for the information on how to edit/make these! I did not create the originals but heavily edited them. The image above shows mine compared to the originals, I hope you like them! Due to my busy schedule I may/may NOT be able to create more as these do take time to make. If you like this style these should be right up your ally. All images were from Dolphin, Fraps doesn't seem to like dolphin so I couldn't get any decent footage They are animated with their own loopable music. If you like my forwarders please leave a comment or a like to show your appreciation. Feedback is always great. Shoot me a PM if you want as well. The Wiirtual Boy and Genesis Plus GX Forwarder was created by Anonymous_Umbra. All forwarders listed have Fix 94's v14 forwarding source. EDIT: Darkumbra crashed when submitting and had to retype all of this. I have tested my forwarders on Dolphin, and on my 4.3u Wii, they work. When installing WADs please use proper brick protection! 18. Custom HQ Homebrew App & Emulator Covers by Mastershoes Update 06-01-13: I went through all my old covers and brought them up to "gametdb" speed, as far as specs & shiz go. List of Changes: -Template change... these were among the first covers i ever made, so i had to bring them up to par with "official" templates. -Changed the front cover from a "Wii" cover to a "Wii Homebrew" cover. -Added all the peripheral icons to the back covers. -I got rid of all my "MS" ratings on the front cover, and replaced them with "E" ratings. -Added the "Not licensed by Nintendo" to the bottom right to keep them universal. -Changed the back bottom label to an NTSC label, and threw my MS rating on there :). -Added all the GameTDB ID's to the back cover label. -Made a few adjustements to layouts where the template change required, nothing major. To Use: -Just click on the image to bring up the full HQ image, then right click and save. Oh yeah, it's that easy. -You will have to re-name them to match your personal Channel ID's or Homebrew Apps. They are named with the official GameTDB Channel ID's by default. -If you don't know your Channel ID's, you can open up the wad with Customizemii & view the Channel ID there. (Channel ID is a combination of 4 letters/numbers associated with your forwarder/channel on your NAND). Rename the image to your channel/forwarder ID, place it in your full covers folder and you're good to go! Don't forget to "Like" if this helps you out! Thanks!

    Emulators for Android

I was wondering if anyone had classic Retro emulators for Android... Recently (due to a lawsuite from Nintendo) Google removed all emulators from the Android Market (leaving ironically the ROM Downloaders... Go figure...) And the genius I am forgot to back up my apps before updating Cyanogenmod... I still have the APK for Nintendo 64 (I'll upload somewhere when I get home...), but I really wanted NES, SNES, Genesis, GBC and GBA, if anyone has them.
